Brave Yorkie Dog Saves Boy From Coyote! A small five-to-seven-pound dog saved a boy from a coyote with the help of his owner, a 10-year-old boy. The incident occurred in Toronto, Canada, and the girl was out walking her dog, a rescue Yorkie named Macy, when they were attacked by the wild animal. Macy managed to fight off the yappy with all the boldness and courage of a dog 10 times her size. Dorothy Kwan, the boy's mother, shared pictures of Macy and the dog on Facebook and thanked everyone for their prayers. She even spoke to about a dozen agencies, including the animal control department, the city of Toronto, and the Ministry of Natural Resources. In addition, she is now sharing the story on her own Facebook page. The story has spread far beyond Toronto. Fortunately, Macy managed to fight off the coyote and save Lily. Sadly, she was left with extensive injuries, including a broken leg and multiple puncture wounds. The family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help with Macy's medical bills. The GoFundMe page has raised more than $700, and the story continues to gain momentum.
